RingCentral offers advanced call forwarding features, giving your phone system the functionality that you need in order to achieve an intelligent communications suite. Call forwarding is more than just sending calls to extensions. It should work for you in such a way that you can take calls when you are available, and send them to voicemail when you are not.
• Time of day routing. You may set how calls are received according to time of day. For instance, during business hours, calls are routed to your office phone. Calls beyond business hours may be sent to voicemail or to a phone line that you use outside your office.
• Day of week routing. You may automatically send calls to voicemail during weekends. You can access your voicemails through the Internet, letting return important messages as soon as you can.
• Holiday schedule. During holidays, you may set your RingCentral phone number to send all calls to voicemail. You may also create a custom greeting notifying callers of your holiday schedule.
• Caller ID. You can set specific answering rules for certain callers, such as your family and VIP contacts. For instance, you may exempt them from being barred from reaching your number. You may also set their calls to be sent to your cell phone number so that they can reach you at all times.
